Terms of Service
Welcome to WeekendTechie. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, that’s absolutely fine — just don’t use the site.
Short version (for people who value their time):
Don’t be a jerk.
Don’t try to break things.
Don’t steal our stuff.
We’ll do our best, but things might occasionally go wrong.
If something serious happens, we’ll deal with it properly.
If that all sounds reasonable, read on.
WeekendTechie is a project built by gamers and tech enthusiasts, for gamers and tech enthusiasts. The site provides products, services, tools, and content related to gaming and technology. Parts of the site may change, improve, break, or be rebuilt over time — usually with good intentions.
By using WeekendTechie, you agree not to abuse other users, attempt to hack or exploit the site, upload illegal or malicious content, impersonate others, or use the site for unlawful purposes. If something feels like a bad idea, it probably is.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping it secure and for all activity that occurs under it. If an account is misused or poses a risk to the site or other users, we may suspend or remove it. We don’t do this lightly, but we will if needed.
All content, code, designs, and features on WeekendTechie belong to WeekendTechie unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute site content without permission. Any content you submit remains yours, but you give us permission to display and use it as part of the service.
We aim to keep the site running smoothly, but availability is not guaranteed. Downtime, bugs, updates, and unexpected issues may occur. WeekendTechie is provided “as is” and we are not responsible for losses caused by outages, glitches, or unexpected behaviour.
We are not liable for loss of data, loss of profits, missed opportunities, or frustration caused by the site not behaving as expected. Nothing in these terms limits liability where doing so would be illegal under UK law.
We may suspend or terminate access to the site if these terms are violated. If you believe this was done in error, you are welcome to contact us — we’re human.
These terms may change over time as WeekendTechie evolves. When they do, the date at the top will be updated. We won’t sneak anything unreasonable in.
If you have questions or concerns, please use the contact options provided on the site. We’re friendly. Mostly.
